Sunrise from the tallest building
One of the most interesting mega cities I have visited is Dubai. So vast and modern. Skyscrapers everywhere. The funny thing is that they all look quite small if you are watching from about 550 meters above the city.
We went to the observation deck as soon as it opened, still before sunrise just to witness all the street lights on.
It was a special birthday for me. What else is better than travelling and watching the sunrise in a new location?
Unfortunatelly the lens hood that had been was so useful in Kuala Lumpur stayed in the hotel room.
So I had to improvise a bit to shoot through the window and to avoid reflections. Covering the reflections with my body seemed to be enough. I also used a wide aperture of f/2.8. Took a few images hand held with a 14mm lens. You need a very wide angle lens in a city like Dubai.
